Description:
The Lakeline Boulevard 16-Inch Waterline Extension Project involved the installation of a new underground water transmission main to expand the potable water distribution system for the City of Leander.
The work included the installation of 16" PVC and ductile iron water mains, gate valves, fire hydrants, and air/vacuum release valve assemblies, as well as steel encasement pipe installations via jack and bore under roadways. Additional work consisted of concrete sidewalk and driveway reconstruction, asphalt paving repairs, erosion control measures, seeding, and traffic control throughout the project corridor.
This project improved the city’s water delivery capacity and infrastructure reliability, supporting continued growth and service efficiency along Lakeline Boulevard.
