The project involved the construction of a new sanitary sewer trunk line to expand the wastewater infrastructure serving the City of Kyle. Work included the installation of approximately 8,200 linear feet of gravity sanitary sewer, connecting the existing sewer system within Plum Creek Golf Course to an existing sewer line south of FM 1626. The project included trench excavation, pipeline installation, sanitary structures, utility crossings, temporary bypass pumping systems to maintain wastewater service during construction, backfilling and compaction, concrete improvements, surface restoration, erosion control, and site stabilization to provide a reliable long-term wastewater collection system.
