The Springs Hill WSC Water Service Transfer Project – City of Seguin involved the construction of a new water transmission main to enhance water distribution capacity and reliability in the city’s northern service area. The work included the installation of approximately 24,000 linear feet of 24-inch, 16-inch, and 8-inch PVC C900 piping using open-cut trenching, and 734 linear feet of steel casing installed by directional boring. Additional work included tie-ins to existing systems, pressure and leakage testing, and system disinfection prior to activation.
