Description:
The 2017 Water Distribution System Improvements Project for the City of Manor consisted of the installation of new 12-inch PVC and ductile iron water mains to expand and reinforce the municipal water network.
The scope included excavation and trenching, pipe installation and fittings, valves, fire hydrants, and air release assemblies. The project also featured jack and bore operations with steel encasement, flow meter and SCADA control vault installation, and roadway restoration through asphalt, concrete, and gravel repairs. Environmental protection measures such as erosion control, silt fencing, and site revegetation were also implemented.
This project enhanced the City of Manor’s water capacity, reliability, and monitoring capabilities, supporting future urban development and improved public service.
