Description:
The FM 1101 Utility Relocation Project for New Braunfels Utilities involved relocating and upgrading underground water and wastewater infrastructure along Farm-to-Market Road 1101 between SH 46 and FM 483 to accommodate roadway expansion.
The work included installation of 6”, 8”, 12”, and 18” PVC water mains, steel casing pipes (up to 36”) installed by boring and open-cut methods, gate and butterfly valves, fire hydrants, and ductile iron fittings. Sanitary sewer improvements included 8” SDR-26 sewer mains, precast concrete manholes, laterals, and bypass pumping systems. Additional work consisted of asphalt and concrete pavement restoration, erosion control, and traffic management.
