Description:
The SH 29 Water Line Bore Project for the City of Liberty Hill involved the construction of a new underground water transmission line to improve the city’s potable water distribution and pressure system.
The work included installation of 8” PVC C900 water mains, gate valves, fire hydrants, wet connections, and 18” steel casing pipe installed by boring under State Highway 29. Additional work involved pressure and leakage testing, system sterilization, temporary maintenance of existing utilities, erosion control measures (silt fencing and seeding), and trench safety compliance.
