Description:
The Southside Sanitary Sewer Improvements Project for the City of Bellmead consisted of the construction and rehabilitation of underground sanitary sewer mains and related infrastructure to improve wastewater collection efficiency and service capacity.
The work included the installation of 27”, 24”, 15”, 10”, and 6” PVC sanitary sewer lines, 5-foot precast concrete manholes, internal drop manholes, and manhole rehabilitation and abandonment. The project also included highway bores with 24” encased sewer lines, concrete encasement of mains, and connection to the city’s wastewater treatment plant. Surface restoration involved concrete curb and gutter reconstruction, driveway and flume replacement, asphalt paving, and erosion control measures.
