Description:
The Bangs Water System Improvements Project for the City of Bangs consisted of the construction and upgrade of the city’s potable water distribution system, improving pressure, capacity, and overall service reliability.
The work included installation of 10”, 8”, 6”, 4”, and 2” PVC and fusible PVC water mains, steel encasement pipes (12” and 14”) installed by boring and open-cut methods, gate valves, service connections, and fire hydrants. Additional work involved reconnection of existing services, installation of water storage tanks (204,000 and 50,000 gallons), GridBee tank mixers and disinfection systems, pavement repairs, erosion control, and safety trenching.
