Description:
The SUN Water System Improvements Project for the SUN Water Supply Corporation involved the installation of an extensive potable water distribution and transmission network to improve water delivery, pressure, and reliability across the service area.
The work included the construction of over 500,000 linear feet of HDPE water lines ranging from ¾” to 12”, along with gate valves, flush valves, air release valves, flow meters, and pressure-regulating vaults. The project also incorporated steel encasement pipes installed by boring and open-cut methods, service connections, asphalt and base repairs, and erosion control and revegetation measures.
