The 2016 CDBG Water Improvements Project for the City of Lott consisted of the installation of new potable water distribution lines and related infrastructure to enhance the city’s water system.
The work included the installation of 8”, 6”, 3”, and 2” PVC and ductile iron water mains, gate valves, and fire hydrants, as well as ductile iron fittings and street repairs following installation. Additional activities involved trench excavation safety, base material backfilling, and restoration of asphalt, concrete, and gravel driveways and crossings.
This project improved water service reliability and pressure within the City of Lott, upgrading essential components of its distribution network.
