Description:

The Bentwood Lift Station Elimination Phase I Project involved the replacement of an existing sanitary sewer system and the elimination of a lift station in the City of Boerne, Texas.
The work included the installation of new 8-inch PVC gravity sewer lines, construction of new manholes and drop manholes, removal of existing clay sewer pipes, and the plugging and filling of abandoned sewer lines. Temporary bypass pumping was used to maintain service during installation.
Site restoration activities included seeding, fencing replacement, and installation of new access gates. This project improved the efficiency and reliability of the city’s wastewater collection system by replacing aging infrastructure and removing the need for a lift station.
