Description:

The CR 269 and Hero Way 12-Inch Water Line Improvements Project involved the installation of new potable water transmission mains and related infrastructure to enhance the City of Leander’s water distribution network.
The work included the installation of 12” and 8” PVC restrained-joint water lines, steel casing installations via jack and bore, ductile iron fittings and valves, and fire hydrant assemblies. Additional activities included concrete curb and driveway reconstruction, asphalt paving, controlled low-strength backfill (CLSM), erosion control, traffic management, and site restoration through native seeding.
This project improved water delivery efficiency and service reliability for the surrounding area while upgrading critical components of the city’s water system.
