Description:
The GLO CBG-DR 2016 Flood Allocation Project for the City of Clifton focused on rehabilitating and improving underground water and wastewater infrastructure damaged by flooding.
The work included the installation of new 8" PVC sanitary sewer lines, replacement and reconstruction of existing manholes, reconnection of sewer and water services, and installation of new water mains with valves and fire hydrants. Additionally, it involved trench safety, asphalt and concrete paving restoration, curb and gutter replacement, lime-treated subgrade preparation, and erosion control through sodding and topsoil placement.
This project improved the reliability and resilience of Clifton’s utility systems, ensuring better protection and service during future flood events.
