The LHISD Off-Site Waterline Improvements Project for the Chisholm Trail Special Utility District involved the installation of new water transmission and distribution lines to provide reliable service to the Liberty Hill Independent School District (LHISD) area.
The work included installation of 4”, 6”, 8”, and 16” PVC and ductile iron water mains, steel encasement pipe (30”) installed by boring and open-cut methods, gate valves, hydrants, and service connections. Additional activities involved pressure tapping, tracer wire installation, erosion control, tree protection fencing, stabilized construction entrances, and asphalt and concrete driveway restoration.
