Description:
The Lift Station Improvements Project for the City of Marlin involved comprehensive upgrades to multiple wastewater lift stations to improve pumping efficiency, safety, and reliability.
The work included replacement of submersible pumps, valves, piping, and electrical systems; construction of concrete structures, installation of valve vaults, safety hatches, and fencing. The project also incorporated electrical upgrades such as new switchgear, conduit systems, wiring, instrumentation, and SCADA controls. Additional improvements included bypass pumping systems, drainage and grading, access roads, hydrants with backflow prevention, and restoration and seeding around each lift station site.
These upgrades modernized the city’s wastewater collection system, reducing maintenance needs and improving operational safety and performance across all serviced areas.
