Description:
The SH 317 Waterline Relocation Project for the City of Temple involved relocating and upgrading major water transmission mains along State Highway 317 to accommodate roadway improvements and increase system capacity.
The work included installation of 18”, 12”, 8”, 6”, and 2” water lines (ductile iron and PVC), gate valves, air release valves, fire hydrants, and steel encasements installed by boring and open-cut methods. Additional activities included meter relocations, service extensions, pressure testing, traffic control, and stormwater pollution prevention (SWPPP) compliance.
