Description:
The South River Street and Storm Sewer Improvements Project in the City of Seguin consisted of the reconstruction of roadways, sidewalks, and storm drainage systems to improve surface drainage and urban infrastructure.
The project included installation of reinforced concrete box culverts and RCP storm sewer lines ranging from 12” to 36”, construction of inlets, manholes, and outfall structures, and replacement of existing water and wastewater lines. Additional work involved new concrete curbs, sidewalks, and ADA ramps, asphalt paving and concrete driveways, erosion control measures, sodding and seeding, and traffic control setup throughout the corridor.
This project improved stormwater capacity and roadway safety, reducing flooding risk and enhancing accessibility for residents and vehicles.
